Schedule Change - May 8th
There has been a change to the high school boy's schedule. Due to the fact that the Jesse Owens Invitational has been changed to Sunday May 9th, the boy's team will be attending the Hilliard Bradley Invitational on Saturday May 8th instead. More information to come soon.

Track Reminders for First Day of Practice
The first day of mandatory track practice is this Monday (March 8th) at 2:45 in the high school weight room. Please remember the following in preparation for Monday,
1. Make sure all paperwork is turned in to the athletic office. This includes a current physical, and all emergency medical forms and acknowledgment papers.
2. Dress warm! Rain, snow, or sun, we will be outside for a portion of practice on Monday. Please wear sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, etc.
3. You can order warm-ups and other gear until Sunday March 14th. Reminder, we are asking for all freshman and sophomores to order a new warm-up that they can use for the duration of their high school track career. To order, please do the following:

- Go to www.kesslersteamsports.com
- Enter team access code "eagles8DK"
- Order items using credit or debit card.
- All items will be delivered and distributed at the school.
- Go to the right side of page under maroon bar at the top and Click on Log In.
- Type the user name – volunteer
- Type password – eagles
Click on Athletic Volunteers
1. Scroll down to #9 TRACK
2. Click what you would like to volunteer for - i.e., TICKETS
3. Click the Edit tab
4. Find the date(s) you would like to volunteer and type your name
5. Click Save (you may have to scroll to the bottom for the save button)
6. Click Ath.Volunteer on the gold bar
7. Either log out or repeat steps 2-6 to continue the process for volunteering
To end - click logout - just under the maroon bar at the top right.
- That's it. When anyone signs up, it is saved globally so everyone has the most current list.

First Day of Track Practice - March 8th, 2010
The first official day of outdoor track practice will be Monday March 8th, 2010. All athletes must have physical paperwork turned into the office prior to this date in order to be allowed to participate in practice and meets.

Blake Taneff Qualifies for State Meet
The Eagles competed at the regional meet on May 27th and 29th. Blake Taneff was the lone athlete to qualify to the state meet, tying a school record 9:35 in the 3200 meters to take 3rd place. One of only 3 underclassmen to make the Division I meet as a sophomore in the 3200, Blake will run Saturday at 6:10 p.m. He will be running against the likes of OSU recruits Donny Roys (Medina) and Julian Meyer (Ravenna), returning state champion and fellow sophomore Zach Wills (Mason), and fellow Central Ohio standouts Yoshi Shimizu (Hilliard Davidson) and Jeff Hannaford (Westerville North). Blake will be looking to place in the top 8 and set a school record on Saturday. Any athlete that is interested in watching Blake run should contact Coach Olinger to make plans on attending with the team!

Regional Schedule and Track Banquet
Track Banquet is this Thursday May 28th at 6:30 in the high school cafeteria. All families are asked to bring one large pizza for dinner. See you Thursday!

Eagles 5th at Districts
This past week, the Eagles competed in the Division I Central District Meet. Competing against 17 other teams from Central Ohio, the Eagles improved on the 2008 14th place finish (16 points) with a 2009 5th place finish (48.5 points). In addition to their outstanding team performance, 5 events qualified for the regional meet to be held at Pickerington North High School on Wednesday May 27th and Friday May 29th. The team results from the District Meet are as follows:
