Track Reminders - Spring Break Week

Please remember the following as you enjoy your spring break:

1. Practices are as follows:

Monday - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday - 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday - 10:00 a.m.

Thursday - 4:00 p.m.

Friday - No Practice - Run On Your Own!

Saturday - Hilliard Davidson Invitational

2. If you are going to be absent from practice the week of spring break, please make sure that you complete the running contract distributed by the coaches last week.  If you complete the running contract, you will be eligible to run the Hilliard meet.

3. Team and Individual Pictures are Tuesday April 7th at 5:30 p.m.   Picture envelopes will

be distributed to athletes on Monday April 6th.  Make sure to wear your clean uniform for pictures.  

4. Pay to Participate Fees are due to the athletic office ASAP.  This is a $50 fee.

Licking Heights Relays - 1st Place!

Congratulations to the individuals that competed and supported the NAHS Boys Track team on Saturday.   With 8 relays placing first, NAHS brought won their first meet of the season over the track teams of Northland, Walnut Ridge, St. Charles, Licking Heights, Africentric, and Centerburg.  Winning relay combinations were the following:

• 4x1600 Relay: Sebastian Matt, Tim Bradbury, Nate Peck, and Blake Taneff
  
• 4x800 Relay: Juvon Williams, Josh Park, David Soldaini, and Drew Windle
  
• Lap Medley: Pat Rowland, Kevin Young, Tim Bradbury, and Sebastian Matt
  
• Distance Medley: Drew Windle, Nick Buck, Andrew Doran, and Blake Taneff
  
• Pole Vault: Zach Galbreath and Travis Bozeman
  
• Long Jump: Zach Galbreath, Michael Burton, and Zach Collins
  
• High Jump: Collin Show, Nate Guy, and Chad Guy
  
• Discus: Mark LeRose, Alex Sycher, and Sly Hagan
  

A special congratulations also goes out to the throwers relay of Sly Hagan, Clark Hillenbrand, Mark LeRose, and Alex Sycher who earned free pizza for their 4x100 relay team!  The boys next meet is Saturday April 4th at Hilliard Davidson High School.  Field Events start at 9:00 a.m. and running events start at 11:00 a.m.  Bus leaves at 6:55 a.m.
